I suspect my child has been violated and I don’t know where to turn. My daughter is in an abusive relationship. My family lives in fear of deportation and we need help with legal concerns. My daughter may have been date raped. My elderly parent is a victim of a crime. My gay son is being bullied. My son’s friend doesn’t seem to have a home and may be in trouble. I AM A COMMUNITY RESOURCE
I work in the schools and I’m interested in learning more about your awareness programs for young adults. I am a nurse and would like to learn more about joining your forensic and SART teams. I work for a local human service agency and I want to learn more about referrals and information. I am a lawyer and would like to donate my services. I’m a local counselor, how can I help?
UPCOMING EVENTS & HIGHLIGHTS
Sept. 10 – 16 is National Suicide Prevention Week
The goal of National Suicide Prevention Week, held this year from Sept. 5 to 11, is to raise awareness and inform individuals about the actions they can take to prevent suicide from occurring in their own communities. It is an opportunity to reduce the stigma surrounding the topic, encourage mental health assistance and connect those at risk to invaluable resources.
