Sexual Assault Victims Support

Sexual assault — unwanted, forced or coerced sexual contact ranging from touching to intercourse — can happen to anyone. This includes women, men, members of the LGBTQ community, disabled people, elderly and children.

No one asks to be a victim of sexual assault. It has nothing to do with how someone dresses, their demeanor or how they look. Sexual assault happens across the board to all types of people in every community, including in Craig and other Moffat County communities.

What To Do Next

If you or a loved one has been sexually assaulted, our staff at Open Heart Advocates is here to provide support, counseling and guidance. We are by your side for physical exams to obtain evidence via our SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner) and SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) services and at court hearings, providing expert advice and encouragement. Follow up counseling is also available.

Give us a call today if you or someone you know could use the help of a local sexual assault support group.
